Our 2024 Recognition Award winners announced Over the last few weeks, it has been heart warming to read the nominations for our 2024 Recognition Awards. This is where our colleagues nominate each other, recognising those team members who uphold our company values and make an extra special, positive contribution to the business. We are excited to announce sponsorship of several local youth sports teams. All teams have been suggested by colleagues at our three sites in Coalville, Preston and Eurocentral. This reflects our dedication to supporting and promoting healthy, active lifestyles for everyone in our local communities and emulates our values of ‘Our future’ and ‘Accountable'. The sponsorship packages will help with items such as kits, equipment, and travel expenses, ensuring all players have what they need to participate in community grass roots sports.
We are very proud to have won Investment Project of the Year at the UK Packaging Awards for our Eurocentral site. Thanks to the amazing team there who helped make a huge project rather successful!
We are delighted that more of our colleagues have been presented with their long service awards recognising 25 years’ service with the business. We have been holding pension seminars for our teams at Coalville, Preston and Eurocentral. Hosted by the team at Pareto, the seminars focused on pension planning and retirement to ensure colleagues are maximising their financial opportunities.
We are so pleased to announce that our Eurocentral project has been shortlisted for Investment Project of the Year at the 2024 UK Packaging Awards. The project, which opened in February of this year, saw a £25m investment come to fruition, replacing the aged Larkhall site and installing the newest corrugator in the UK. Frank Hay, Group Managing Director, Board24 commented; “Eurocentral was a huge project and one that has changed the production landscape of Board24. It was a hugely complex project, but one made possible by a great team who gave it their all to ensure it was a success.”
Teams at all our sites participated in the Logson Group Health and Wellbeing Day last week. From fresh fruit and gym memberships (health) ice creams (happiness) and educational info (wellbeing) our teams took a few minutes to chat with colleagues, chat with our gym providers and perhaps be encouraged to make some small lifestyle changes.
