After an incredible morning hosting our first MasterChef, the energy carried straight into the afternoon with our very own Bar Clash — bringing together talented team members from across the business to showcase their cocktail/mocktail creations🍸 The creativity behind the bar was just as impressive as in the kitchen. From bold flavour pairings to eye-catching presentation, every serve had its own story and it was amazing to see so many people step up and bring their ideas to life. A huge shoutout to all 10 finalists! The talent and passion on display made this a standout competition👏 Congratulations to our winners: 🥇 1st Place: Gary Lawrence – Bella Italia, Inverness 🥈 Joint 2nd Place: Edward Williams – Banana Tree, Cardiff 🥈 Joint 2nd Place: Oliver8 Crayshaw – Chiquito, Manchester A special thank you to Pernod Ricard for attending and sponsoring the event and providing the drinks that made it all possible. One of the biggest worries for our future and a key phrase on everybody's lips is "sustainability" or "climate change". With temperatures increasing, sea levels rising, and polar ice caps melting, the entire planet has to make a real change to offset these effects sooner rather than later. One organisation that has made huge strides to combat these effects is Carbon Neutral BritainTM. Their aim is to help offset CO2 emissions by planting trees across the country. Since their inception in 2020, they have already offset over 500,00 tonnes of CO2 and planted over 3 million trees, helping stop climate change in addition to providing habitats for endangered wildlife. We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have partnered with Carbon Neutral Britain to plant a tree for every new hire we make across our business, from our Support Centre, to Café Rouge, Las Iguanas, and Bella Italia!
