#Couchbase CEO, Matt Cain, was live with Nasdaq on #FacebookLive today! Check it out here
Couchbase has recently joined the Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG), an “invitation only” public policy trade association that aims to address major issues affecting the economic health and quality of life in the Silicon Valley. The organization was founded 40 years ago by David Packard (the “P” in HP), and includes more than 375 of the Valley’s most respected employers, including Apple, Cisco, Ebay, Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, Tesla, Lyft, Infosys, and Nutanix to name a few. The SVLG continues to play a prominent role in the Bay Area as a civic booster and remains focused on advocating local issues and regional efforts to improve municipal government and regional transit initiatives. The organization provides a voice on topics that impact quality of life in the Valley, for example, the proposed Oakland A's stadium move to San Jose. Our membership not only gives Couchbase a seat at the table when it comes to various local policy issues, but it also provides opportunities for employees to get active in the community through various committees.
