We announced our second quarter FY25 earnings today. We're excited to share that we achieved strong second quarter earnings, marking three consecutive quarters of positive comp restaurant sales and a rise in comp retail sales. A big thank you to every member of our team for their hard work and continued focus on the guest experience. We’re looking forward to what the rest of the year will bring!

We are incredibly proud of our Cracker Barrel family for coming together to support those impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton—residents, first responders, and our local employees alike. In the wake of these storms, our teams served thousands of homestyle meals to those in need across Asheville, NC, and Clearwater, FL. Meanwhile, our Home Office employees in Middle Tennessee rallied to gather and send essential supplies to affected areas. They also partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank, Feeding America, and FEMA, volunteering to pack and load Disaster Relief Food Boxes. Cracker Barrel has always been dedicated to being a neighbor in times of need, and our commitment to supporting our communities runs deep. Our hearts are with everyone facing the continued challenges of these disasters. We stand united, committed to supporting our communities and employees.
At our recent District Manager Business Meeting, we surprised 36 of our outstanding field leaders with the 2024 Winners Circle Award! This award goes to the top-performing General Managers, Retail Managers, District Managers, and Regional Vice Presidents across the company. This year’s winners will get together in January to celebrate their accomplishments in a really big way! We will also provide them with additional professional development opportunities to support them in their continued growth as business and people leaders. The "Team" pillar of our People Promise says: "Pleasing People takes a team." Meet Cathy (Retail Manager) & Brian (General Manager), two Cracker Barrel leaders in Kansas who live by this pillar. When asked about how they work together, Cathy said, "Brian and I have a mutual respect for each other, and we are both goal oriented. We have a good understanding of what it takes to achieve our goals - That is to focus on guests, employees, and the brand. Brian has a wealth of knowledge and experience with Cracker Barrel, and he has been more than willing to share that with me as a newer Retail Manager." Their ability to work together so seamlessly has also affected their store culture. They shared, "Our store culture is one of communication and inclusion. Alley rallies and chat-ins are part of the everyday routine." Their dedication to supporting and encouraging each other was recognized at our 2023 Managers Conference when Cathy and Brian were named as one of two sets of 2023 Winners Circle award winners from the same store!
