Congratulations Flex graduates! We are proud to share that 65 of our Flex employees have completed their Flex sponsored Professional Diploma in Management (PDIM). Separated into different batches, Batch 3 graduates had their shining moment in December 2021 and Batch 4 and 5 graduates had their rewarding convocation in May 2022. Gracing the stage in Dewan Sultan Iskandar, UTM Johor Bahru and looking smart in their graduation caps and gowns, our Flex employees received their graduation scroll in the company of loved ones, family and friends. Here’s to their amazing feat and to approaching career growth opportunities!
Today, the meaning of Only One Earth resonates with us all; working together to make transformative, global action to protect and restore our planet. With sustainability being part of our DNA here at Flex, that means we need to strive for continuous efforts on the local and global scale. To celebrate World Environment Day, we’re proud to highlight our locally-driven sustainability initiatives through the Flex Foundation and announce three earth day challenge winners across our regions that demonstrated innovative, scalable environmentally sustainable initiatives and strong employee involvement. In the Americas, Manuas-PCBA, Brazil, 93% of the site’s employees stepped up to volunteer, educate, and donate within the community. In Asia, our Chennai, India, teams waste and energy reduction efforts led the way to over 2 tonnes of waste being collected and over 1,037 kWH of energy being saved. And in Europe, our Timisoara, Romania, teams conservancy efforts to protect native bird populations was realized with planting over 130 native trees in the “agricultural desert.” Thank you to all.

The jury panel comprised leaders from IBM India, CSC India, Tech Mahindra, Randstad India etc. This recognition is a testimony of Flex’s DEI initiatives and all the passionate work carried out by our colleagues at our sites and the inclusive work culture at Flex. The award was received by Sandra Andrews, Sr. Director HR who also participated in a panel discussion on the topic: ‘Positioning diversity and inclusion as a key business strategy’.
