Last week the Spectrum Network, which mission is to raise LGBTQ+ visibility and bring people together, by promoting a culture that supports diversity and inclusion, and a forum open to LGBTQ+ staff and allies, organized a fun quiz to celebrate the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia #idahot The quiz presented, in a fun a interesting way, facts about the LGBTQ+ community.
In the current situation is more important than ever to make sure that we are managing our mental and physical wellbeing, as we all adjust to our new working lifestyles in different ways. To support our team members through this, our Mental Health First Aiders have been hosting weekly wellbeing ‘drop-in’ sessions to address any wellbeing concerns, in or out of work, which may affect ourselves or someone we know of. These sessions are intended to provide a safe space for free and open conversation, and as such are conducted on a one-to-one basis and in full confidence (as far as ethical/legal responsibilities allow). #mentalwellbeing #wellbeing
Last Friday, 24th April, we kicked off our own Virtual Talk Show entitled: What is the Tea with L&D. Our L&D Team is interviewing people from different offices to learn more about them in a personal and professional level, everyone attending has the power to ask the guest any question they might want to know. Last week was so much fun and we can't wait for the next episode.
This week, we continue to report on the new and creative ways in which technology is bringing us closer together at Frontier. A shout out to some great Yammer groups which have been set up… jump on board and join in the chatter! A great way to stay connected with friends and colleagues and share some updates 😊
Last Thursday we had four (!) virtual socials going on, with the Telecoms, Competition, Transport & Water and Policy practices #battleofthesocials. Telecoms' virtual pub quiz featured many stumbling over the pronunciation of “network sharing” in Czech (sdílení síťí, obviously). Policy’s virtual drinks saw an impressive demonstration of party tricks. And last Friday we had the company-wide Small Events Frontier Virtual Pub Quiz!
