Growing and supporting the cybersecurity community: veterans and students can apply for grants to attend and learn at Black Hat USA. The internationally recognised event series has opened veteran scholarships and student passes for the event in August. Applications close on 21 June.

This year, Informa Tech's Game Developers Conference expanded their sustainability focus with unique and fun ways to navigate to the event. The event partnered with the City Bike Share program to offer each attendee a $5 credit for rentals during the event. Besides a free of charge bike valet at the venue, GDC organised walking groups from different HQs in the city to promote safe walking routes while helping fellow GDC-goers make connections. #GDC #SustainableTravel
Join an inspirational cohort of women in tech! InspiringFifty recognises women excelling in tech, run by EQL:HER in partnership with our global festivals Africa TechFestival and London Tech Week. InspiringFifty’s mission is to increase diversity in tech globally. In 2023, it released its first InspiringFifty in Africa in collaboration with Africa Tech Festival, with a second edition in November. In the meantime, visit the EQL:Lounge at London Tech Week to continue the conversation on empowering women and fostering gender equity in the tech industry.
Making a difference: Over 150 students joined the first Future Careers Orientation live class, part of a programme led by the Chi Heng Foundation in partnership with Informa Tech in China. Students learned about data centre and the industrial robotics’ industries from our experts in Shangcai Country. Our volunteers will spend 10 months sharing their expertise and helping students, mainly from rural areas in China, to plan their career paths in tech. #MakingADifference #TechJobs #FutureCareers
