Since it was founded, L'OCCITANE en Provence has supported initiatives to help others and protect the environment. Its six critical action areas are: Respecting Biodiversity, Supporting Producers, Reducing Waste, Empowering Women, Caring for Sight, and Celebrating Craftsmanship. We are very fortunate to have a group of colleagues committed to launching fun and effective initiatives that contribute to charitable causes. In November, our Charity Committee hosted a 'Charity Bake Off'. We had over 10 contributors and all proceeds were donated to the L'OCCITANE Foundation. Here are some happy bakers and some of their delicious produce! ♻️💛 Keep up to date with L'OCCITANE (@loccitane_uk_ire) on Instagram! #cultivatorsofchange #peoplefirst

L'OCCITANE UK&IRELAND are thrilled to announce that we are a Real Living Wage Employer. We will be fully accredited members from 1st September 2022, and the UK&I are the first country from the L’Occitane Group to be pioneering this move, although you will see other countries from the group join us in due course. This is a huge move for L’Occitane and the beginning of a long-term partnership with the Real Living Wage Foundation, and we look forward to working closely with them over the coming years. As you may know, the Real Living Wage is not dictated by the government, it is a voluntary rate paid by employers who choose to go above and beyond the Government minimum wage to ensure their staff are always paid a fair wage that covers the cost of living, which is even more important at the moment. It is independently assessed based on the cost of living and interest rates, and the new rates are announced annually each year. We will use this data annually to help inform our pay grades, along with the external benchmarking data previously mentioned.
