Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA) Our team of 20 trained Mental Health First Aiders, hosted an afternoon where employees had the chance to get to know them and introduce the topic of Mental Health (picture from our Gibraltar office). Our MHFA act as a first point of contact for any employee suffering with their mental health, they have been trained to spot early ill-mental health signs, will listen to employees without judgement, and will encourage all to seek additional internal or external help if needed. Here is a quote from one of our MHFA on why it was important for them to be trained: Mental Health issues have a societal stigma that can lead to people feeling alone and without recourse; I want to be a part of the force that tries to break down those stigmas and get people thinking of their mental health in the same way we would our physical health, where when we are unwell, we take time to rest and get better, and where required, seek help from practitioners. - Philip Slater: Money Laundering Reporting Officer
