Thank you to all of our people who participated in Safety Week earlier this month. Today we're highlighting our Rugby site. who completed a wide range of activities across the week including hiring a 'health kiosk' to enable employees to come for a health check, holding a smoothie morning with charitable donations going to Guide Dogs for the Blind, and gifting a safety bag to each team member. Just one example of the ways our sites got involved in Safety Week 2022!

Prioritising our people’s learning and development is important to us at Morgan. With the help of our online learning tools, Percipio and goFLUENT, our people are able to take learning into their own hands. We have received a lot of positive feedback from our people. Enzo from Argentina said ‘I enjoy having many opportunities to practice different languages. I’m sure that learning makes me more confident to talk with others in another language’. Our culture shapes everything we do at Morgan, from the way we communicate with our people, to the way we develop our processes. To ensure that our culture is positive and inclusive, we want employees that are reflective of the communities in which we operate.
Our seals and bearings enable the digital world. Did you know that a smart phone contains an average 1,500 capacitors? To ensure your phone is working correctly, each of these must be tested before leaving the factory... that's where we come in. Our miniaturised carbon bearings are used to test the reliability of multilayer ceramic capacitors; used in electric components from smart phones and audio equipment to motion sensors. Our carbon graphite material offers a much higher wear resistance; resulting in an improvement of over 4 times the average life span. At Morgan we're keeping you connected.
In our 2021 'Your Voice' survey, our people said we need people in the right place at the right time to deliver our purpose. In response we launched ‘License to Recruit’. This ensures our hiring managers are appropriately trained to support inclusive hiring. In addition we've also launched three employee resource groups to support the growth of our inclusive culture internally. Our people are being heard as we look to meet our purpose.
