At Morgan, we care about the community in which we operate. Our people from the Singapore office recently visited the homes of six local residents who needed a helping hand. The Singapore team took mops, brushes and vacuum cleaners and gave the homes a deep clean. The residents told us what a lovely gesture it was from Morgan.

This year we maintained our 'AAA' environmental, social and governance (ESG) rating by MSCI, highlighting our commitment to a sustainable future and demonstrating our resiliance to long-term ESG risks. We are proud of the contribution Morgan is making to a more sustainable world, but still have a long way to go to achieve all of our goals. You can read more about our ESG goals here.
In March we marked World Water day to help us focus our efforts in using water more sustainably. Together we can make a difference. Here are some of our water highlights: 👉 At our Pachuca site in Mexico we reduced water consumption by 50%. 👉 At our Gujarat site, the team completed a low-cost repair to rainwater collection tanks, which enabled them to collect and store 30,000 litres of water for use across the site 👉 At our Ranipet site, the team have recently completed a pump audit across the site , as a result they have replaced the centrifugal pump for the furnace cooling circuit with an energy efficient pump. This will reduce the site's carbon emissions by 39.25 metric tonnes per annum
This year we have spent time getting together across the globe. ♥️ Our Erlangen site in Germany celebrated 50 years of operations with a big family summer party ♥️ Our Shanghai team spent time together preparing for the traditional Chinese Dragon Boat Festival ♥️ Our China HR team held their first cross-country meeting in 7 years to discuss local policies and recruitment and enable them to work more strategically
