At Morgan, our Code underpins our values to work safely and ethically. To keep ethics front of mind, we have 'ethics shares' at Morgan. These hypothetical or real-life scenarios are presented in team meetings to highlight ethical dilemmas that can impact our work at Morgan. Their main purpose is to make our people stop and think. We all make ethical decisions every day and we find the 'ethics shares' are a great way to respectfully engage with our people and create awareness of ethics and compliance topics too. Learn more about our Code and how it guides our work.
When our people collaborate, great things happen. In China, our team are aiming for a company first later this month; holding their kick-off Women@Morgan online meeting across the whole country. This event will connect all the people in our HR management teams across China, who will meet virtually the first time to brainstorm ideas and discuss how to connect people to the Women@Morgan network across their region. We can't wait to hear how the meeting goes, and to see the teams working together as a community!
Our people care about building a sustainable future. At our Pachuca, Mexico, site the team have been focused on one of the most precious resources which we all use on a daily basis - water. Recognising that the site was consuming large volumes of water during 2021, the team made it their mission to use water more responsibly in 2022. Creating a multidisciplinary team in January of this year, they prioritised reviewing their water use and identifying actions to reduce daily water consumption. Thanks to their focus, they reduced water consumption across their site by over 50% (from March to May 2022). Their challenge is to maintain the same, reduced level going forward. Incredible work to save water and protect our planet! Take a look at just a few of the ways they’ve taken action.
