Our social value: National Employability Day 2023 - A key objective for Plus Dane is to deliver good quality homes while also considering how we can contribute to the local economy of a neighbourhood, which is why we set targets to ensure that local people have access to any employment opportunities that building new homes creates. On one particular scheme in Knowsley we met Callum, who lives locally and has benefited from this approach. We went out to visit him to find out what attracted him to the opportunity and what he has gained from the experience.
On World Day for Safety and Health at Work we are proud to announce that we have once again achieved a Gold RoSPA Health & Safety Award. The international award recognises our commitment to health and safety excellence for the fourth year in a row.
Plus Dane Housing has been recognised as a good employer following its successful application to be included in Mayor Steve Rotheram’s Fair Employment Charter. Inclusion in the charter follows an intensive application process which looked at the housing associations social purpose, people practices, policies, procedures and equality, diversity and inclusion commitments.

Supporting more customers than ever with our biggest winter campaign to date... We have supported hundreds of customers over the colder months with our biggest ever winter campaign. The campaign provides food vouchers, food and toy hampers, festive events and much more, and in 2022 the support provided was a 25% increase on the previous year. We have: - Helped 42 customers to save £10,000 off their household bills - Directly supported 323 homes, most in need - £22,000 donated from partners
