Today, we are honored to celebrate Juneteenth in partnership with the Black Employee Network, our employee-led business resource group dedicated to empowering Black individuals across Team Point B. This federal holiday marks the day in 1865 when troops arrived in Galveston, Texas to take control of the state and ensure that all enslaved people knew of their liberation and were freed – two and a half years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. We hope you’ll join us in celebration by educating yourself through Black experiences, reading Black authors in literature, supporting Black-owned businesses, and committing to racial equity.
