This new category honors the EdTech company that best demonstrates clear, positive, and sustained impact in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Additionally we are thrilled to announce a second 2022 CODiE Award for Freckle ELA, which was named Best English Language Arts Instructional Solution for Grades PK–8. While there’s still work to do with regard to equality and LGBTQ inclusion in the workplace, one thing is clear…Renaissance puts people first! We are committed to diversity and belonging. This month, we honor our LGBTQ employees by hosting two Pride-themed virtual events and by offering Renaissance Pride-themed swag to employees in an effort to continue to build a company culture that is committed to inclusion and that allows people to be their authentic self in the workplace.
At Renaissance, we accept to choose the challenge for this year’s International Women’s Month. Our team members embrace challenges and encourage us all to choose to challenge for change. This marks a call to action for accelerating woman’s equality. We can celebrate the importance and responsibility in our efforts to end gender-bias and inequality. Encouraging a Strong Community. At Renaissance, we are encouraging a strong community of readers with a focus this month on celebrating Black voices by reading books or children's books by Black authors. As we engage in this year’s Black History Month theme of The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity, Renaissance continues to foster more inclusive environments, through the creation of an Inclusion Council shaped by employees of all identities, locations, tenure, and functions. In addition, we’re launching an employee resource group for Black employees and providing event awareness to support Black-owned businesses across our communities to grow and evolve. We listen and work together to accelerate learning for all.
In celebration of Dr. King’s birthday and his major contributions to the civil rights movement, Renaissance recognizes this day as an opportunity to provide educators with engaging reading resources about the influential American civil rights leader. Employees are provided a day off so that even more can fully participate and give back to their communities. We’re committed to building a diverse team, fostering an inclusive culture, and investing in equity across our organization. We learn and grow as a team.
