** London, Supporting Walk The Walk Charity ** On the night of May 12, a London employee Heather McKay joined around 15,000 others to complete the MoonWalk. A full or half walking marathon through the streets of London at night and several London landmarks, such as the London Eye and HMS Belfast, were lit up in pink in honor of the event ! Walk the Walk is in aid of vital breast cancer causes. All participants, men and women alike, wore bras for the walk :) This year’s MoonWalk has raised over £3.6 million so far. All the money raised goes to the charity Walk the Walk, which has raised more than £125 million over the past 22 years. As for Heather, spurred on by messages of support from family, friends and co-workers she finished the marathon in 8 hours and 40 minutes and said it was a wonderful experience!

On Tuesday evening we hosted Lee Ridley who performed a stand-up comedy under the name “Lost Voice Guy” Lee, who is a writer, journalist and comedian. He is disabled as result of complications at 6 month old which resulted in Lee developing cerebral palsy which left him unable to speak. To perform, he pre-programs his routines into a voice synthesizer on his tablet computer called Speak It. He performed to the audience making jokes about his own disability but also highlighting awareness of his condition. He may not be able to talk but he definitely had something to communicate and his comedy left attendees speechless entertained For more information visit his website http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQWmK and social networks @LostVoiceGuy
