Secom's X2 Robot, currently deployed at Narita airport in Japan, is one of Secom's latest innovative security measures. The robot is equipped with an omnidirectional camera allowing for 360-degree video, as well as a thermal imaging sensor and a metal detector. The robotic arms allows it to check for suspicious objects and detect heat. Security surveillance carried out by robots has many advantages, including the capability to perform tasks without losing concentration.
