We've had a mega week at SMG! On Tuesday 13th November, we were named as Lloyd's mid-market business of the year! We were up against some amazing businesses, with huge turnovers, so we're absolutely thrilled to have been recognised in this category. To celebrate, everyone was treated to a delicious breakfast on Friday morning!
We've been named as one of The Financial Time's Future 100 companies! A few months ago, a panel of expert judges sought to find fast growing companies across the country that are leaving their mark and making a positive impact in their industry and wider society. They also valued companies that went beyond “corporate speak” and industry minimum standards. This led them to specifically recognising our totally unique business and ability to demonstrate a market-leading approach to boosting diversity. The inaugural list published earlier this week demonstrates that despite Brexit uncertainties and the impact this may have on fast-growing businesses, the UK’s corporate climate is still supportive of the following initiatives, of which each business was judged against; diversity, disruption, consistent revenue growth and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance).
