While most of our workforce continues to operate remotely, we’re not slowing the impact we have in the communities we serve. Now more than ever before, career growth and development continue to remain top of mind as we grow around the world. Learn more about career growth at TransUnion and the many resources our team members can utilize. See what associates had to say:
This June we celebrate our LGBTQ+ colleagues and allies, friends and family. This community brings immeasurable contributions to TransUnion, and we’re honored they live their truth with us every day. Our belief in equity extends to everyone, and this Pride Month we’re underscoring our commitment with a donation to the Human Rights Campaign. Thank you for being a part of TransUnion!
We’re thrilled Abhi Dhar, TransUnion’s EVP and Chief Information Technology Officer, has been named a Global Enterprise Chicago CIO of the Year® ORBIE® Awards Finalist. This award honors CIOs who are transforming leading organizations. Read the release.
This Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, TransUnion celebrates the exceptional contributions of Asian Pacific Americans and Asians in America to our history and culture. We’re dedicated to championing attitudes and policies that support people of all races and ethnicities, and to working together to advance inclusion — both at our company and in the communities we serve. We’re proud that one in five TransUnion U.S. associates identify as Asian, and believe our collective differences make us more empathetic, strong and successful. We’re also committed to fighting racism and violence everywhere, and pledge to speak up as allies and take actions that bring about lasting change. All part of our mission to help people around the world access the opportunities that lead to a higher quality of life. Join us in celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage this May and beyond!
In celebration of Earth Day today, we’re making a donation to Earthday.org and sharing a few photos our TransUnion associates taking action throughout April to protect the planet. Big thanks to our Green @ TU Networking Resource Group for ensuring that we are all doing our part and Happy Earth Day!
At TransUnion, we stand with our African American, Asian and LGBTQ colleagues and all other communities targeted by hate and violence. We hear the call for greater advocacy and action, and are committed to doing our part.
TransUnion plays a key stewardship role in the global economy, ensuring each person is reliably and safely represented in the marketplace. In 2020, we were reminded of and recommitted to the importance of taking care of each other inside and outside the workplace. That came to life in two landmark reports: The TransUnion 2020 Sustainability Report takes a transparent, data-driven look at our performance across environment, social and governance issues. We’re committed to integrating sustainability into every aspect of our business and culture. The TransUnion 2020 Diversity Report details DE&I efforts to support women, underrepresented groups, the LGBTQ+ community and people of all races and ethnicities. We’ve seen measurable progress in areas like hiring and development, but recognize there’s more to do. We’re working to create healthy systems that power opportunity and prosperity for hundreds of millions of people. If that’s important to you too, take a look and let us know how we’re doing.
In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating women at TransUnion who are achieving great things. This week we were proud to interview Pia Arellano, President/CEO of TransUnion Philippines. During her tenure, the Philippines rose 29 notches in the World Bank Doing Business 2020 report for ease of doing business — largely thanks to improved access to credit. We talked with Pia about her team’s accomplishments, the role of building healthy economies around the world, and perceptions vs reality of women in leadership. She also discusses her pride in TransUnion’s efforts to drive financial inclusion in a country where 65% of the population remains unbanked. Thanks for sharing your story, Pia!
Today TransUnion is proud to recognize and call attention to International Day of Trans Visibility, a day created to celebrate transgender and gender-nonconforming individuals, call awareness to discrimination, and celebrate the contributions of transgender people worldwide.
