The two-day event includes some of the best and most well-known speakers across the SEO industry, who share their knowledge, insights, and top tips for SEO professionals. At TrunkBBI, we’re always eager to learn and expand our skills. So, naturally, we headed down to Brighton to get involved. Five members of our SEO and PR team attended the event, and it didn’t disappoint.

We are delighted to announce that TrunkBBI is now an accredited Living Wage Employer. The real Living Wage is higher than the government’s minimum, or National Living Wage, and is an independently calculated hourly rate of pay that is based on the actual cost of living. It is calculated each year and is announced by the Living Wage Foundation as part of Living Wage Week. It is currently £10.90 in the UK, with a higher rate of £11.95 for London, reflecting the higher costs of living in the capital. This commitment applies to not only directly employed staff but also to our third party contracted staff. TrunkBBI have ensured that we pay all our third party contracted staff, such as our cleaners, the real Living Wage. We are really proud of this commitment to be a living wage employer.

We’re delighted that our vision for an in-house studio is coming to fruition! After months of planning and deliberating, plans are in place and wheels are in motion to get the studio up and running imminently, expanding our range to provide more content production capabilities. Our content production team, made up of experts across film, animation, and organic social, will now be able to create, edit and produce high quality content for our clients within our current office space. Ben Harrap, Content Production Director says, “Having our own in-house studio allows us deliver content in a creative, meaningful way that doesn’t miss the moment. Our new in-house studio differentiates us as it will be integrated into the broader agency.”Moving forward, this dedicated space will provide us with potential to support more experiential brand work as well as having a dedicated space to hone our skills, practice new techniques and learn new methods of filming.”
As part of our partnership with Stockport County Football Club and our sponsorship of this quarter’s Business Club, our in-house film team created, directed, and produced a film series, ‘Forever Being Beautiful’ in support of the launch of the Player’s Association. The ‘hero’ film from the series debuted at the SCPA launch evening on 8th February, where 13 County legends received a special velvet cap to mark their achievements at the club. The special film encapsulates the rich heritage of the club’s 140-year history, and features club legends Oshor Williams, Paul Jones, Ashley Williams, and Michael Rose, as well as Steve Bellis, Club President. It takes us on a journey of the club’s past, its dedicated fans, and some very special moments in history. To bring the current group of players and fans into the fray, TrunkBBI’s film crew attended a recent home match against Tranmere, which also features in the emotional film. Please enjoy our film, Forever Being Beautiful
