Unstable, always changing, too much bureaucracy, unclear direction, instability with always having layoffs lingering and unfair promotions not based on performance, experience, or accomplishments.

Does Allstate have a pension plan?

Pros

Great pay. Great benefits. Offers 401k, pension, health insurance, 20 days PTO right in the door, and a work from home stipend should you be remote. Great leaders and managers. Great team atmosphere. Opportunities to explore lateral positions and career advancement in the company are abundant. Employee recognition is prioritized and the company actively asks for feedback from the employees on how they're doing and makes changes according to feedback trends.

Cons

Standards of performance are high even with the extreme workload.

Advice to Management

Address your employees' burnout before they get singed.

Does Allstate offer a wellness program?

Cons

Disorganized, lack of SOPs, regular layoffs and reductions in force (RIFs), and mediocre raises that are not consistent with inflation.

Advice to Management

Send out a culture survey that isn't tied to our leaders in any way, but rather tied to the organization. A culture-only survey about Allstate, compensation, benefits, etc. Do not put it in with a survey about our leaders, our departments, or anything else. Ask open-ended questions, ask if people would leave the company if a similar opportunity was presented, ask what you can do better.
