What is health insurance like at Cadence Design Systems?

Pros

I work in audio dsp team. Good company, good people and work culture. Very good medical insurance policy in which almost all the diseases are covered, your parents are also covered, any pre-illness is covered without any condition. Good working environment. Helpful colleagues except 1-2 senior people

Cons

Some senior people in audio DSP team are too arrogant! They don't explain/brief you the work and assume with the single email that you have understood everything and expect the work to be done in hours.

Advice to Management

Promotion of employees from T2 to T3 level is not fair. Some are promoted very early some are not! Even though they work quite well.

How are the career development opportunities at Cadence Design Systems?

Flexible hours, WFH, Smart colleagues

Cons

No work-life balance, No real diversity, no career growth opportunities in technical roles

Advice to Management

Cadence is turning into a complete Boys Club. Hiring for high-level roles is done through management-friend-circles which is all-men. HR and Legal have women and they are highlighted at every possible avenue to "show" diversity. New grad roles and inter roles are mostly filled with women to show diversity and inclusion. But in senior tech roles (anything beyond T5) hardly any gals! The ones that are left are harassed to no end. All benefits provided are cookie-cutter ways to get into "Best Places to work for". Even the gym onsite needs a paid membership! The One Team message does not work between BU's and teams.
