      Employee Friendly Company

      Senior analyst
      Current employee

      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

This is a employee friendly firm where we get lots of benefits including cabs, Wi-Fi reimbursement, flexibility to work from home, flexible hours to work from office & work life balance.

      Cons

      Growth rate is quite steady.

Great Place to Grow and Innovate

      Senior manager
      Current employee
      Pune
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

      1. Innovative Environment: Capgemini Invent fosters a culture of innovation and creativity, encouraging employees to think outside the box and bring new ideas to the table 2. Supportive Leadership: The leadership team is approachable and supportive, always willing to listen to new ideas and provide guidance 3. Work-Life Balance: The company promotes a healthy work-life balance, with flexible working hours and remote work options 4. Professional Growth: There are ample opportunities for career advancement and professional development through various training programs and projects 5. Collaborative Culture: The team spirit is strong, with a collaborative work environment that values each employee's contributions

      Cons

      1. Compensation: While the work environment is great, the compensation and benefits could be more competitive 2. Market Presence: The company has a stronger reputation in Europe compared to other regions

      Sinking ship, avoid.

      Pros

You get a nice Macbook which you can't use with any client. You can work from home.

      Cons

No annual pay rise (not even with inflation), bonuses for senior and above not junior/midlevel. Recruitment at higher than average pay ranges, so new recruits paid substantially more. Senior staff (esp Managing consultant and above) huff their own gas and think they are going through "difficult times" like the rest of us when theyre on 6 digit salaries with 5 digit bonuses. "Leaders" are delusional and shill for AI hype products, while the stock has collapsed ever since AI investment started getting pushed. Structure is designed very purposefully to remove recourse for complaint, your people manager is detached from pay, benefits, and performance which means you need to "schedule a call" with your "family lead" The projects you get are alright, But you realise based on the motivation and competence (or lack of) from your colleagues means you are just rinsing money and not given enough time to push through meaningful change

      Business outlook

      Pros

Good benefits for mothers and fathers, with creche facilities and WFH options

      Cons

Less hikes, no promotions and career advancement

Really poor at looking after staff welfare - ignore the hype

      Business outlook

      Pros

Pay and perks are good - in line with market norms. Pretty flexible and laissez faire, but that can also be a con.

      Cons

As above, feels like a start up that has grown too quickly. Some staff are over promoted without requisite experience. And the company feels a bit stuck in the pandemic mentality - work from home remotely, not encouraged to come into the office too much (covering costs in has been cut as a cost saving measure). And I knew two staff signed off with depression - not a great indicator. Disappointing overall.

      Business outlook

      Pros

Good drive in internal initiatives around wellbeing etc Good graduate scheme with a large grad community Very flexible WFH policy Decent pay

      Cons

Very large bench - big pieces of client work are not being won which causes a lack of roles. Senior Leadership team pressure you to get on a project which is virtually impossible if there is limited work. The work that is being won is BORING! No interesting pieces of work - nowhere near as 'innovative' as they market. Internal initiatives are good but due to such a large push on internal contribution, it promotes a culture of people starting initiatives just to be able to say they've done something rather than actual meaningful work. Not good development in core consulting principles - development is not that great in comparison to other firms.
