Toxic management culture, avoid at all costs

      Sales
      Current employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

      - Reasonably nice office in London and flexibility to work from home.

      Cons

      - Management team have completely unrealistic expectations and no idea how to get to where they want to be. They’ll change direction enough to give you whiplash. - Toxic culture where you are made to feel like just a number. Sales will always be prioritised over employee wellbeing. - You’ll likely be given a job to do that is completely different from the one you applied for. People will leave every month and you will just be expected to pick up their work. Many roles are not backfilled, yet the output of the team is expected to stay the same. - So much time is spent in internal meetings, ‘deep diving’ into issues and creating action plans that never get actioned because there isn’t enough resource to do them. - Internal processes are ridiculously complex for the size of the company, so getting anything done is a slow and painful process. - Everything is a song and dance to appease the investors. Targets are completely unachievable. - The best you can hope for as a reward for hard work is a ‘Hyperfive’… an automated email ‘thank you’. No monetary benefit, no pay rises and no clear career progression or support from HR.

      Business outlook

      Pros

Small teams, which means exposure to a variety of projects and the chance to take ownership with visible impact (more than you might get in a larger organisation) Flexibility to work abroad for a few weeks People are generally friendly

      Cons

Lack of structure and no processes Reactive decision making which can be felt in the company's culture Priorities change daily with little/no long-term strategy Unsustainable workload with individuals responsible for work which should be delegated across teams, leading to burn out Blame culture and limited opportunities for progression UK benefits package is very basic General low morale across the teams

Too much work and pressure too little benefits

      Customer service agent
      Former employee
      Belgrade, Central Serbia
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

When I started working for this company 5 years ago everything was great, communication, expectations, benefits, salary, etc. but then the company was bought by a major fund and things took the turn for the worst and turned this company into a soulless corporation whose only goals are better profits and great numbers on the company update presentation. At the moment, the only pros COULD be some of the people still working there. Everything else is so bad.

      Cons

A lot of things - management not really interested in employee wellbeing since they are having pressure from above to make us all more productive while also cutting costs. Does that sound like a healthy work environment where people are trying to do their best in every situation? Didn’t think so. No wonder so many people are quitting and the company has no time to find replacements. No real prospects of the career development except for a select few who are “good friends” with someone from the management.

      Regional manager

      Business outlook

      Pros

Nice office in West London - some good people, the business has a great potential. Good career progression. Do not get involved in things like identity politics.

      Cons

Poor ability to get anything done, directors commit to large tasks they do not have the facilities, processes or systems in place to deliver. Training for their engineers and tools is so poor and miles behind competitors.

People are nice but not smart. Go there if u are a fresh graduate and u need working experience.

      Cons

My manager did micro management to us which made everyone so stressful in the team. They laid off lots of people without replacing them and forced the rest of the team to pick up the stuff. You will be assigned to do extra works that are totally out of scope. Their benefit, bonus, pay were getting worse so lots of people left the company. They hired people who were cheap but not able to do their jobs well. There was no career progression or development in this company. The office location was bad so they could only hire people who live in West London. Please avoid this company if you could.
