Applied through their career portal. Got a reply from the recruitment team after two weeks. It was an invitation for a google hangout where one from the tech team chit chatted about their company and the interview process, and asked a few tech questions. There was no reply for a long time since then and I had to send follow up emails to know the outcome. After two emails, they responded that the recruiter was out of the office and hence delayed the whole process. Then she sent me a coding challenge which was quite ambiguous. Find out the mistake in the code and optimise it as per the given remarks. They have used laravel framework and wrote code without following any Laravel coding guidelines. Just one class they have included that does all the job from database connection to processing a large file. I had optimised it in my own way and fix the issues. I refactored the code as per Laravel coding guidelines and send them as a zip file. There was no response for around 15 days. I had sent some followup emails and then I got a reply from the guy who handled my application at first. He asked me to send the code again since the lady who sent me the assignment was on leave. I did it and he said he forwarded it to the tech team. On the same day, I got a reply that the code was rejected. I was astonished to see they rejected the code without proper evaluation or anything. They don't even give a chance for me who spent atleast 16 hrs writing the whole code. I was damn sure that I covered all the points in their assignment and managed to get it done in a proper way.

At the start HR did not tell me that I will have tech interview on skype, I waited on google hangouts..., 2nd time interview got posponed, third time when I was supposed to have interview on google hangouts I waited for 12min in google hangouts conference room and nobody came. What a waste of 1 month. My recommendation to anyone reading this is to always apply to more then just 1 company and at the end you can pick yourself which one suits you best. :)
