The interview process involved three distinct rounds: an initial interview with recruiter Juan Rojas, followed by Ashley Rathburn, the hiring manager, and concluding with a discussion with Steve Johnson, the CHRO. While positive feedback was received from the recruiter initially, communication regarding the position ceased following the final interview with Steve Johnson. Despite subsequent inquiries regarding the application status, no further response was received. I thought I had been ghosted.
Two months later, both the recruiter and hiring manager provided explanations for the delays, feedback, and a decision. Although delays happen, it is recommended that a more robust communication protocol be established to inform candidates who invest their time in the process, even if the feedback indicates an ongoing decision-making phase. The lack of consistent communication negatively impacted my engagement and led me to believe there was a lack of organization in the company, which ultimately led me to move on to other companies.
