Applied for the Sr. Web Enablement Engineer role at Addepar (Pune). The process had 2 rounds. Round 1 was a technical round focused on converting flat objects into a root-children hierarchy given parentId in each object, followed by discussion on time and space complexity and trade-offs. Round 2 was a behavioral and system design round â questions around team size and structure, examples of work that others reused, and how optimization decisions were communicated to management. One challenge was the interviewer's fast American accent which made real-time comprehension difficult. Skills should be aligned explicitly to Addepar's domain before the interview.
