I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Aethercomm (Carlsbad, CA) in Jul 2021
Interview
I went in for a junior engineering position and was told during the interview that I didn't know what I was talking about and needed to start off as a technician first. Was also told overtime was a requirement. After taking a tour of the facility the look on everyone's faces told me they hated working there. Shortly after I was offered a technician position at an insulting rate that I declined.
Submitted cover letter & resume online. Received an email from recruiting department 3 weeks later to schedule an onsite interview with hiring manager. Went back and forth via email with recruiting department to find a window when the hiring manager was available. Arrived on time for interview and waited for the hiring manager. Hiring manager did not have a space reserved for the interview and spent a little time to get a space for the interview. The interviewer's manager joined us later and I provided a copy of my cover letter and resume for him to review.
Discussed my background, company culture/structure, and job duties.
I followed up via email 3 times with the hiring manager with no response.

Interview
Applied online and hr reached out to me to schedule an in person interview. At the interview I was asked mostly about my experience and resume. Everything was going well until they hit me with $21 hr pay rate LOL. I literally put what my desired pay was on their application and they did not care. Waste of time.
