Recruiter call, then call with hiring manager, did not pass further and the hiring manager interview was a bit unclear. Could've been more specific. Seems like an interesting company. Was not challenged at all on technical abilities.

Question 1
Tell me about a project you worked on that you're proud of
I applied online. I interviewed at Aiven (Helsinki, Southern Finland) in Jan 2026
Interview
The overall timeline was quite slow, with zero regard for the applicant’s schedule. I completed two interviews and an assignment, after which the review process took about a month. When I was finally invited to the next interview, I had already forgotten many specifics of the assignment. Several questions also indicated that my submission may not have been fully reviewed.

Question 1
How would you deploy SPA so it is available to people online?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Aiven in Jun 2024
Interview
I was given a common home assignment to monitor urls using Python and Postgres. After submitting my solution I asked for feedback because it was declined. It was embarrassing to discover that they were not fully familiar with the requirements of the task (which could be found online, as it is a common assignment). They mentioned at least 4 points that didn't align with the requirements. I think interviewing at such company is a waste of time, as I can only imagine what the daily work environment must be like for their developers.
