The interview process was excellent. It was quick (not scary no thought quick, proper quick in that they were aware of the impact of timing and were actually wanting to make a decision in a logical timeframe).
They understood that I was interviewing them for the culture fit as much as they were interviewing me for everything else - and treated me with respect in a meaningful way. Everyone I spoke to from initial screening with HR, my would-be manager, and two colleagues - they were all brilliant. They were human, intelligent, bluntly honest, hilarious, personable, and competent. I've not ran into people who gave me this much faith in a business and who I'd be working with in a long time. The manager I would be working with was clearly a force of nature in the best way and anyone with a modicum of skill would thrive under her.
While I was offered a job and had to decline, it was truly Sophie's Choice that I had to decline the offer (yes, I was blessed with two amazeballs offers). Their offer was fair, the benefits were solid, and I think anyone would be lucky to get to join that team.
Don't pass these guys up if you have a chance with em.
