Our Case Managers (paralegals) are a vital part of our companies’ operation, so we take our interviewing process very seriously. On average – our process will include a Core Value Video Conference interview for 30 minutes, and then we will have a ~3 hour interview process, that usually includes a lunch with team members. This candidate was qualified and did well in our interview process. There was no issue regarding the posted salary and the amount, as that was communicated clearly at each stage of our process. Unfortunately, in our initial correspondence the candidate represented she was relocating for this position. At the end of our process, she then noted it would be at least 1 year before relocating closer to our office locations. We would not have offered any interview from the onset if she hadn’t represented her relocation plans.
