Interview with team and HR was overall pleasant and employees were engaged. HR dropped the ball on multiple occasions. I asked multiple time for compensation expectations for the role and was given some wishy-washy answer that never gave me a salary range. HM ended up speaking to my references, I was told an offer was being made, and then a week later, HR told me that I did not get the role based on experience. This was an embarrassing experience for everyone involved, including my references I notified that I was not offered the role.
