I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amino (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2016
Interview
Process:
- intro phone call with talent manager
- in-depth phone call with engineering manager
- take-home project
- onsite
The interview process went quickly and was communicated well. The talent manager was responsive and gave helpful feedback about how things went at the end of each phase of the interview. The take-home exercise was interesting, which I liked, but I thought aspects of it could've been specced out more. The onsite was well-organized and there was less whiteboarding, opting for more realistic coding sessions on a computer. Overall, a great interview experience.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amino (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
Initial call with the recruited, then 1 technical phone/skype screen with an engineer, then a small take coding assignment relevant to the work you'd be doing, finally onsite interviews (meet with 4 or 5 people).
The technical interviews were pretty light, not much whiteboard coding was expected. Everyone was friendly throughout the process
I applied online. I interviewed at Amino (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
After a short meeting with a hiring manager, I had a code challenge assignment regarding APIs. With the positive feedback about the challenge from Amino, an onsite interview was scheduled. I had three different interviews in the face to face interview. After the onsite interview, I had a feedback from a recruiter, and got an offer from the company.
