I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Anaplan (Denver, CO) in Nov 2024
Interview
There were 5 stages (Recruiter, Hiring Manager, and 3 different VP interviews). It was conversational most of the time, which made me feel comfortable answering any questions they had. The questions were ones that you would expect for this type of role (leadership style, situational experience, operational preference, behavioral, etc)

Question 1
How do you coach your team? How have you operationally managed a team in the past? How do you give feedback?
Things were going well until communication just stopped. They asked me to send over responses to a few questions, which I did, but I never heard back. A bit surprising, especially since I was referred for the role. It doesn’t reflect well on their recruiting team. Sending a quick follow-up isn’t hard.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Anaplan in Apr 2025
Interview
Excellent experience from start to finish, Mark and Mandy’s engagement and support through the process was outstanding. The interview panel were amazing. Really open and two way conversations with everyone.

Question 1
Experience within the sector examples, drilling into customer support and how to achieve results leading a global organisation
Everything was going fine till the recruiter decided to go silent. Please have the decency to at least inform your candidates whether they are proceeding to the next steps or not.
