It took about a month
first a phone interview
then a round of interviews conducted by groups of current employees
it took the whole day and was exhausting
Then the last interview was with CEO.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Appian Logistics Software (Reston, VA)
Interview
The entire process was not very professional. The recruiter did not seem to have a good understanding of the company's policy regarding security clearances. After the interview, there was no feedback, no follow-up, and I continued to receive emails from their recruiters even though I had already been in for an interview and received no feedback.

Question 1
They wanted to see some of my work, including user guides. So far, in all of the thirteen years I've been doing technical writing, I have never been able to share the work I've done. It is all proprietary. In some cases, depending on the work, it will be classified. The company did not seem to understand why this might be an issue.
