I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Army Distaff Foundation (Washington, DC)
Interview
It was very straightforward. I applied through email. I got a call fairly quickly. The HR person I corresponded with was really personable. I had an interview within a week of applying. The person interviewing was professional, but kind of distracted. It didn't really feel like he was interested in what I had to say. People were passing by, he was checking his phone. It felt like a courtesy interview b/c I knew a staff member. Seemed like a great job with a lot of room to grow though, and a lot of work to get things set up.

Interview
I had a preliminary call with HR and three in-person interviews before recieving my offer.
They asked genuine questions amd emphasized how innovative the role was going to be. The Director I interviewed with walked me through some of The Foundation's initiatives and I gave my insight.
It was an overall very good experience.
