I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Atlan (New Delhi) in Sept 2018
Interview
I applied through a referral program. First round is a short on-call interview in which they asked me regarding my work experience and my purpose for joining the organisation. After that I was asked to come to the company's office for a one day task. I was given three problem statements which I had to provide a solution for and implement the same in code. The main goal of the task is not only to implement the solutions of all the problem statements in code but also to check if you understand the problem statement correctly or you could come up with the solution in design along with discussing the same with the team. I was not able to come up with solution on my own in the first discussion and it required 2-3 discussions to reach the correct solution after which I started implementing the same in my code. I was able to implement the solution of one problem statement in code and had created the design and flow of the solution of the other two problem statements on paper. The task was followed by a discussion of what else could be improved in the solution and regarding my past work experience. After this there was a final call in which they asked me about my personal goals and about my expectations.
