I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Atrium (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2019
Interview
Easy and succinct. Part one is a phone screening with an HR representative to get a high-level overview of your experience and personality to see if it will blend well with the company. Next step is an onsite with attorneys, paralegals, and practice assistants followed by a brief exercise.

Question 1
Walk us through your career experiences and identify how it prepared you to be a Practice Assistant?

onsite/phone screen
To be honest, the people working there seemed nice and friendly but something is wrong with their administrative team. 1. the recruiter was late to the interview/kind of rude (cut me off to tell me that my 'yes' 'uh-huh' were distracting her). 2. no follow up from anyone even though I was told a 2-week date in which I would receive a response. 3. contacted by them a month later for my references and more time has passed. Look, if I did not get the job its common courtesy to say that you've moved on. In general, this is still an unorganized start-up judging by this whole process. Would not recommend.

Interview
Recruiter reached out via email to schedule a 30-min phone interview. After that, there was a task assessment. And after that was a 3-hour on-site interview with three different panels, each panel consisting of two individuals. The first panel consisted of cool lawyers, the second consisted of paralegals and the third consisted of practice assistants/paralegals. There was a 30-minute skills assessment at the end which tested your ability to find flaws in a legal document. Everyone at the company was incredibly collegial. The interviewers make you feel very comfortable. I enjoyed it.

Interview
I first received an email notification to schedule a phone interview. The date of my interview, the recruiter was not able to call me (and understandable in this stage of rapid growth). However, the recruiter kept me updated regularly and was transparent about the process, and available whenever I had questions.
I met everyone who I would potentially be working with in an in-person interview, following the phone interview. At this stage, I really felt like we got to know each other. They made this step also very informative and interesting.
At the company, there was a very positive atmosphere and everyone was friendly and welcoming. People I met with put a strong emphasis on mentoring, learning, and personal development.
I just received an offer letter and I will accept. I am excited to learn and grow here.
