(Glassdoor keep removing this review, no idea why, trying for the 4th time)
-Initial interviews with HR and team mate (2 hours of involvement not including prep). I was notified there would be a total of 6 stages. Extremely time consuming process.
-Received positive feedback from these rounds.
-No answers for 1 week after requesting via email info on next steps.
-Automated rejection email after a week. Upon discussing this matter with HR on the phone, I was informed that there had been an oversight on the manager's part (?), due the amount of applicants.
Manager did not even gather feedback from my interviews or looked at my CV. I made HR aware that this is not professional.
Why you ask candidate to invest time if managers block profile without reasons? Not even a single email from management.
HR then invited me to continue in the interview process. I reflected on this but I decided to withdraw my application. I consider this manager behavior a big red flag on management style.
Selecting someone, and the abruptly change idea without even talking with them. Very sad, because role was extremely a good fit for my aspiration and profile experience.
I need to admit another HR rep tried everything to save the situation. But in my opinion this overall candidate experience is unacceptable. Bad impression on the company as a whole. Very ironic that for this interview I refused to do, HR sent me a leaflet with the Value and mission of the company.
