I have been working at Autodesk full-time (More than a year)

Wonderful benefits across the board with a great culture. Rewarding work being around so many bright, motivated people doing a lot of cutting edge stuff.

On-boarding can be very, very overwhelming and takes several months. It is well documented but often lacks the human interaction with many teams all being in different locations, not in person.

    Advice to Management

Overall, what a great place to work with an open, diverse work force that treats everyone like adults. Promotion and upward mobility is there but hard to sometimes understand.

    Software Engineer Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Birmingham, England
    Declined Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Autodesk (Birmingham, England) in December 2014.

    - Apply online using Delcam's form
    - Go to assessment centre. Do two tests: logic puzzles and a C++ test (paper-based). It's possible to get through even if you do very badly on one of the tests.
    - Those who pass the tests (about 1 in 5) then get a face to face interview in the afternoon

I thought it was stupid to make everyone come all the way to Small Heath to sit 2 hours of tests and then be told to go home, they could be done online.
