Everything was pretty straight-forward and typical - even quite fast - until it came time to let me know they chose to move on with other candidates. I had a phone interview with the HR person, a phone interview with the hiring manager (VP in the strategic sourcing department) a few days later, then was asked to come in about 10 days later and spend half a day meeting with the hiring manager, another VP, a Director in the department and an HR Director. Then the SVP came in to talk with me. He left it that they would get together and then let me know. But they never let me know that I had not been selected. Had to log onto my candidate portal about 10 days later to see my application status was "not selected". I cannot tell you how unprofessional that is. They talked a good game about integrity - but apparently it was all talk.
