Instead of engaging with me about my craft and how I could use it to solve their business problems, they obsessed over how much "agile" experience I had. They didn't seem to believe that I was part of a mass layoff either, despite that layoff being widely published in national news. They weren't all that subtle, either; I could tell immediately when they decided not to proceed with me.
