I applied online. I interviewed at Better in Oct 2020
Interview
A short phone interview to walk through my management experience and what they're actually looking for other than the job description. I told them about mentoring, guiding the team to reach the goals in details but the recruiter pretty much told me in a nice way we want someone who can identify the ones who are performing and underperforming.
Then lay off those who aren't and I don't have that kind of experience. He offered me the associate role and I declined the offer because it's not a place I want to work for where they just replace people who's not doing well instead of coaching them. Completely opposite of their "business model".
