I was excited to see this position posted in the weekly CMX newsletters, and eagerly applied. I received a response in about 24-hours to schedule a screen.
After my screen, I was asked to send availability for next steps. My second interview was scheduled and when I showed up on the zoom call no one joined me. After 15-minutes I hung up and sent an email asking if we should reschedule.
It was over 24 hours until someone responded. They apologized and explained why no one joined the interview. I was understanding of reason they shared, and was happy to reschedule. But everything from that moment on was unprofessional.
I was asked to share more availability and two weeks later, nothing was rescheduled. I even checked in a week later and said, "It's fine if you don't want to move forward. Please just let me know either way."
It's been two weeks since I have heard from anyone at Bevy, so that was the last red flag. I received a form rejection email this morning thanking me for "spending time with the team and sharing my experience and career goals". None of which happened.
I spend a decent amount of time with Bevy and CMX products and I wasn't expecting this level of unprofessionalism. I love the work they do for community managers, but this experience was disappointing.
UPDATE: I received an apology message from the company regarding my experience.
