I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at BitTitan (Kirkland, WA) in Aug 2015
Interview
I was referred to BitTitan by a former co-worker; and I applied as soon as I saw an open position which seemed to match my skills and experience.
First Interview: The office is VERY nice; and the environment looked very welcoming. I was greeted by the director of recruiting, and another recruiter who had recently joined the company. They made me feel at home; gave me a nice and quick overview of the company. However, what stood out the most, was the recruiting manager's honesty and desire to help me on my job hunting efforts. She listened to my interests, concerns, etc; and having been to many interviews in my lifetime, I appreciate that.
Given that I had an interview process with another company running in parallel; the recruiter made sure to schedule my next interview (with the CIO and someone from the PM team) quickly.
The second interview was unusual to me, since most interviewers tend to be very formal and "stiff" (especially executives at the C-level); but BitTitan's CIO was very relaxed, open, and the interview seemed more like a conversation. He talked about the recognition/credentials of some of the people who work at the company; and about some of the things the company was doing. But the thing that really did it for me; was that I could clearly see how passionate he is about BitTitan, and how much he loves what he does.
In addition, we both have very similar backgrounds; so I could relate to many of the reasons why he loves BitTitan.
I also interviewed briefly with a member of the PM team; and I got the same "vibe" in terms of his passion for the company and what he does.
