Interview
The interview process was a little too long over a period of one and a half to two months. There were 2 virtual phone screens and one on-site meet up. However, the long waiting time mostly due to managers out of town or not available. Once they make a decision, it was really quick.

Recruiter screen, hiring manager screen, behavioral loop (STAR model), and XFN conversation (3.5 hours total interview time). This format is standard in Tech/FinTech. You need well-thought-out STAR examples that are relevant.

Give an example of difficulty in executing a project.
Relatively straight forward, standard recruiter screen talking about salary expectations, tell me about yourself and experience, take home and four rounds of onsite interview followed by offer/no offer. One of the rounds is a HM pitch for the role and to answer any questions that you may have about Square and the role.

Started with a phone call with a recruiter, then a conversation with the hiring manager and lastly a four-part technical interview. The entire interview process was fairly efficient and took about four weeks.
