I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Bluehawk Consulting
Interview
The pay range for a Principal seemed low to me, so when the name of the client slipped out, I went to the client's job page to do some research. While I did not find the Principal position listed on the client site, I did find a Senior Software Engineer position listed on both the client site and Bluehawk's site. The difference was astonishing.
The full time position is $163k – $192k (plus equity) while Bluehawk's range is $113k - $125k. I've been on both sides of consulting and the contractor usually makes more salary than the FTE but usually has crappier benefits and can be dismissed at any moment.
Bluehawk is gouging its resources. I'd be upset if I worked for them. Stay away! By the way, when I asked for a reasonable explanation about these numbers, I got silence.

Had the initial prescreen interview and was ghosted afterward, no follow up or update in regards to the position. The recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn. I did not receive any information on the job until the actual phone call.
