I applied through other source. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Bosch in Mar 2012
Interview
Bosch is one of the largest private companies in the world, so the opportunities are vast. However, it still has the culture and feel of a German organization, with a very structured hierarchy for hiring. The setup of the N.A. headquarters is similar to most firms, where the general populous sits in cubicles in the middle and senior management lines the borders. The cafeteria was mediocre, but the fitness center was nice. There were also trails and places to go.
The interview process consisted of a phone interview, a financial/accounting case study and subsequent presentation (if you make it to the final round), and a day-long final round interview that included a group project, panel questions, 1:1 and 1:2 interviews.
Bosch was first class and provided a high end car service to/from the airport and paid for flights up front. It also said it would reimburse for meals, though I have not seen a check yet (doesn't mean I won't, could just take a while).
Either way, although it wasn't for me, it was a well-run group.
