Interview
There was a 15 minute screening call, 30 minute video interview with hiring manager, 30 minute video interview with another team member. In the last two minutes of my interview with the hiring manager, I was asked if I could come to Charlotte once a month. There was no mention of travel in the job description or from the recruiter. I agreed that I could make once every other month work. The recruiter called to tell me I was the frontrunner after my interview, and I proceeded to the next round. I asked for an update and was told that the recruiter was meeting with the hiring manager on a certain day and she would be sure to keep me posted. That was two weeks ago. It's very unprofessional to ghost candidates, especially after indicating that they are a top choice; always close the loop!

Thank you for sharing your experience. That is very unusual for the feedback loop not to be closed more quickly, but perhaps there were extentuating circumstances. You should always feel free to follow up with the recruiter if you have not heard back in the timeframe you were expecting.
