I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Burlington Stores (Indianapolis, IN) in Mar 2015
Interview
The interview process went smoothly it was a real simple nd quick process for me. Only because I don't have much work experience this would only be my second job. So it really wasn't to many questions they could ask. I interviewed with two managers they were both very nice nd down to earth. So after I finished the questions they told me they were going to send me a background form to fill out. Nd then after that they would let me know if I got it.

Question 1
one question they asked was what was my availibitlity
The interview went great the manager gave me the job right then and said to come back in a week. Later I got a call to finish the application on the website and then we could move forward. The next day I got a text she didn’t realize there were no open positions available and I could try again later for a holiday season. Today I got a message saying they decided to go with a candidate with qualifications that were a better fit. I let go of other jobs because I was confirmed to have been hired. I have been in customer service for 10+ years but today I got a message they hired someone with better fitting qualifications. I shouldn’t have let go of other jobs that was my fault. They shouldn’t have confirmed I was hired after the interview then said I wasn’t because there was no openings to then messaged they hired someone else. I love the items in the store and the interview was with a new manager she was awesome but was really disappointed with the way this was handled and that there’s nothing I can do about that. I’m a single mom and have been looking for a job for awhile and finally got 3 callbacks but the first job to say I was hired was Burlington so I took that and let the others know I was hired. The interview was fine but I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
I was asked Really simple question like about my experience as well as curtain situations I have encountered in my other jobs as well as how i reacted and overall a good interview
